HERMETIC-Pumpen GmbH is a leading developer and manufacturer of hermetically sealed pumps and pumping technologies. The specialist for canned motor pumps has earned a worldwide reputation for its safe and long-lasting pumps, which can be used for the most extreme applications and conveying hazardous media. HERMETIC pumps are suitable for fluid temperatures ranging from –160 °C up to +480 °C and system pressures up to 120 MPa. With power outputs from 1 kW to 690 kW, HERMETIC offers the largest capacity canned motor pumps on the market.

      1866 Foundation of the company LEDERLE by Wilhelm Lederle at the age of 22 years, as mechanical workshops in Endingen at the Kaiserstuhl.

      Production of the first hand wine pump.

      Production of: Hand pumps, reciprocating pumps, rotary piston pumps, centrifugal pumps Temporary production of automobile engines, fire fighting vehicles and buses until 1924.

      1954–56 Development of a new type of leakage-free canned motor pumps by Hermann Krämer.

      1956 Foundation of HERMETIC.

      2007 HERMETIC and LEDERLE merge as per March 1st, 2007.

      2016 Three reasons to celebrate: 150 years of company history, 60 years HERMETIC-Pumpen GmbH and the grand opening of the new production hall.
